As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home, we safeguard essential systems like plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surge protection, hot water heaters, and interior electrical components. Outside the home, we ensure the protection of vital lines, including water, gas, wells, sewers, electric, and septic systems. We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water/gas/electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water/gas/electric bill itself. Position Summary
We're seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our growing team.
This position is responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, execution, and implementation of back-office In-House Technician (IHT) operations including fleet management, procurement, and warehouse processes. The Operations Supervisor is responsible for all activity and management of a $1M (and growing) inventory value. Additionally, the position will be responsible for any direct reports to ensure satisfactory productivity for all aspects of work including accuracy and timeliness, as well as individual performance with established workload KPIs.
This position is located at our office in Naperville, IL and is not a hybrid position. Our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience. A regular in-office model (5 days per week) is required.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Directs and manages the daily activity for back-office functions for fleet management, procurement, and warehouse processes, including timely and accurate processing of all workload transactions and responsibilities.
- Maintains accuracy and timeliness of all inventory transactions and physical movement of material from receipt to distribution.
- Ensures accuracy of inventory by cycle count, physical inventories, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Select preferred suppliers that provide the most economical supplies while delivering quality standards and specifications of purchased services and goods.
- Maintain and monitor all fleet processes, systems, and repair/maintenance schedule.
- Establish, implement, and report on workload KPIs.
- Actively participates in all aspects of continuous improvement activities involving warehouse, procurement, and fleet processes.
- Identify enhancement opportunities, suggest solutions for improvement, and support implementation.
- Provide contributions in a lead role for any project planning and requirements identification.
- Ensure all month end activity, including reporting and close activity within company's current system application, for logistic processes are performed and completed accurately and timely.
- Establish and maintain good relationships with a wide range of suppliers, employees, management, contractors, and other key stakeholders.
- Support the controls expenses by gathering and submitting budget information; scheduling expenditures; monitoring variances; and implementing corrective actions.
- Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees, including developing growth opportunities.
Experience And Qualifications Of The Role
- 1 years of supervisory experience.
- 3 years background, supervising daily operational tasks and reporting.
- 3 years experience in inventory management or relevant job experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft O365.
- MS Office proficiency.
