As a US-based warranty provider, we provide expertise in safety and homecare to our customers. Our integrated solutions meet customer needs both inside and outside the home. Inside the home, we safeguard essential systems like plumbing, heating and cooling, appliances, power surge protection, hot water heaters, and interior electrical components. Outside the home, we ensure the protection of vital lines, including water, gas, wells, sewers, electric, and septic systems. We primarily go to market B2B2C, partnering mostly with water/gas/electric utilities and municipalities to offer our product leveraging their brand for marketing and often adding our subscription fee to the water/gas/electric bill itself. Position Summary
We are seeking a talented Sr. Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team in Naperville, IL or Mt. Laurel, NJ. In this role, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions, contributing to the successful implementation of our business systems and processes.
As a key player of the Systems Analysis and Automation group under the EPMO/BSA/QA organization, you'll engage with stakeholders across the departments, championing business analysis best practices and ensuring alignment with company objectives. Your proven track record of delivering business requirements for large-scale projects on time and with high customer impact will be essential as you tackle legacy products and help shape the roadmap for future innovations.
You will lead requirements for multiple projects concurrently, making significant contributions in a dynamic environment to achieve our objectives and drive business outcomes through successful project delivery. Document requirements, establish scope, objectives and determine strategy for implementing systems to achieve business goals including gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and working closely with business owners to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for system enhancements.
- Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities or improvement and optimization.
- Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications, user stories, and system design documents.
- Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate interpretation of requirements and successful delivery of technical solutions.
- Identify, refine, and accurately articulate the business objectives and value proposition of assigned initiatives. Bring alternative perspectives and influence consensus among stakeholders.
- Continuously strive to improve understanding of requirements techniques, processes and deliverables required to support successful project delivery. Embrace feedback and opportunities for process improvement.
- Identify and update Business Process Models utilizing standard applications.
- Perform system testing and validation to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) and provide support to end users during the testing phase.
- Provide training and support to end users on new system functionalities and processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business objectives and technology solutions.
- Communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
- Act as a subject matter expert on business systems and processes, providing guidance and recommendation to stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior role.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate complex business requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience working with enterprise business systems such as ERP, CRM, or HRIS systems.
- Proficiency in business process modeling tools and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience with process analysis, systems analysis, process architectures and systems analysis methodologies and practices including traditional waterfall, Agile, Agile Scrum, UML, UML Enterprise, etc.
- Understanding and skill in complex process and systems requirement documentation standards, such as Use Case modeling, User Story creations and narrative description.
- Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines. Demonstrates problem solving skills.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Experience in project management and process flow systems preferable Asana, Jira/Confluence, Visio, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field required.
- Application Life Cycle Management (e.g., PMP, Agile Scrum / Product Owner, SAFe, DevOps) Preferred
