Scrum Master (onsite) – Open for C2C / W2 / 1099
Location: Palm Beach Gardens, FL (Local Candidate Only / Should Have FL ID)
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extension(s)
Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in US)
Must-have skills: 2 years of experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, etc.); 3 years of experience performing the Scrum Master for 2 or more software development teams utilizing SDLC; Atlassian or SAFe or LeSS (scaled agile frameworks)
Requirements:
• Availability to work 100% of the time at the Client’s site in Palm Beach Gardens, FL (required);
• Experience as a Scrum Master for 2 or more software development teams utilizing SDLC (3 years);
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Kanban, Lean, etc.) and toolsets (Atlassian suite, etc.) (2 years);
• Experience in mentoring and developing teams into self-organizing, cross-functional teams;
• First level Scrum Master Certification (CSM), or equivalent
Preferred:
• Experience with the administration of the Atlassian product suite;
• Experience with SAFe or LeSS (scaled agile frameworks);
• Experience with design-driven development.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Conducts complex operational analyses and leads medium to large project teams that support informed decision making within the business unit;
• Review and approve findings to be presented to senior management;
• Conduct statistical analyses, and coordinating with other business units regarding initiatives;
• Encourage Agile behaviors, reinforce practices, norms, ceremonies, and support the overall team performance and efficiency
• Create an environment whereby the team is motivated, self-organizing and self-sufficient
• Organize and facilitate effective Scrum rituals: backlog refinement, sprint planning, daily stand-up, sprint review, and sprint retrospective;
• Mentor and guide lower level analysts.
