OpSource has partnered with JTEKT a global leader in engineering and manufacturing automotive systems, bearing solutions, and high-performance machine tools company in Piedmont, SC. Who is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Tech to join their team. THIS IS A DIRECT HIRE POSITION.
Summary/Purpose
Provides support to production equipment through troubleshooting and reliability improvements.
Pay for the position:
- $30.00 - $32.00/DOE
Shift for the position:
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM Monday through Friday.
- Please note: Starting in 2025, positions will transition to a 12-hour work schedule (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM/7:00 PM - 7:00 AM on a 2-2-3 schedule)
Job requirements for the position may include:
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, bearing application, CNC systems, PLC systems, oil/lube systems, 240V/480V electrical systems, and troubleshooting.
- Ability to use general gages such as: calipers, micrometer, cylinder gage, and dial indicators.
- Understanding of hand and power tool usage.
- General knowledge of operating and maintaining heating, cooling or ventilation equipment.
- Strong initiative and self-starter.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications for the position:
- Special equipment knowledge (i.e., grinding, chip handling systems, vacuum and filtration, etc.)
- Experience with metal cutting and tooling, cutting fluids and their use.
- General knowledge of heating, cooling and ventilation systems, and operation of compressed air systems.
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, PLC systems, nomenclature, and lubrication systems.
- Experience with the following; close tolerance measurement and part drawing interpretation.
- Able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
