What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Administrative Assistant position at Opus Internal Medicine?
Busy internal medicine practice seeking to add a Medical Administrative Assistant, -certified/registered preferred but not required. Qualified candidates will have at least one year of recent work experience, familiar with referrals, prior authorization, and triage. Also would need to be able to schedule, checkout and cover the front desk. Being proficient in phlebotomy, ekgs, injections, AthenaOne software is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate with appropriate medical background. We are seeking an individual who can work both independently and collaboratively in a private practice setting. Must be reliable. This is a full-time position, M-F, 8-5pm.
