The Role: As a Mortgage Loan Officer for outside sales efforts, you will be instrumental in driving our home loan business. You’ll achieve both the sales goals and service levels of the Credit Union by developing and maintaining strong partnerships to bring home loan business through activities such as; home finance seminars and solicitation of consumers. Develop home loan business from third party sources with solicitation of real estate agents, contractors, home builders, financial planners, and other referral sources. Provides professional, efficient quality member service and sells Credit Union products and services.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least one (1) year of relevant experience in home financing origination, with a solid understanding of modern and effective selling skills. And preferably one (1) year of outside sales experience.
- Licensing & Knowledge: Successfully registered with the NMLS as a Mortgage Loan Officer, with thorough knowledge of mortgage lending federal and state laws, Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac guidelines, and loan origination/automated underwriting systems.
- Sales Savvy: Strong presentation and selling skills, with experience in building relationships with real estate agents, businesses, and other referral sources.
- Integrity: Willingness to undergo thorough background checks, credit checks, and drug screening.
