The Fiscal and Operational Support Division of the Planning, Environmental & Development Services (PEDS) Department is responsible for assisting the divisions in our department with purchasing, accounts payable, budget preparation, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, reconciling various databases with the general ledger and compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
This position will report directly to the Supervisor to assist with various fiscal assignments and special projects as needed
Job Description
Representative Duties/Assignments
Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college pursuing a degree in Business Management, Accounting, Public Administration or a closely related field.
Preferences
Experience With Microsoft Excel Is Preferred.

Job Description

- Review building permits for code compliance and assessment of fees
- Review and approve customer assignment requests
- Review and approve customer deferral applications
- Assist customers with various land development inquiries
- Assist with reconciling accounts
- Review files for compliance
- Other assignments as needed
