Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Food Preparation Worker to join our culinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting in the cooking process to ensure high-quality food service in our establishment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients as directed by chefs or kitchen supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in cooking tasks as needed, ensuring that all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and report shortages to management.
- Follow proper food handling techniques to ensure the safety and quality of all dishes served.
- Support banquet preparations by setting up food stations and ensuring timely service during events.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Experience
- Previous experience in food handling or preparation within a hotel, restaurant, or hospitality setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and kitchen equipment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on cleanliness and organization in the kitchen environment.
