Summary
The BottleDrop Operations Manager is responsible for oversight of BottleDrop Redemption Center operations across the state. This position is responsible for ensuring departmental productivity and adherence to expense budgets, along with a major focus on customer service and safety training amongst all employees. In addition, the BOM has the responsibility to ensure performance objectives are met across all Redemption Centers. This position works closely with the Director of BottleDrop Operations to refine practices and procedures to maximize efficiencies within the department.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Train, coach and supervise Area Operations Supervisors (AOS) to build competent, productive RC teams, complete daily work assignments, maintain company standards, and follow company policies and procedures
- Adhere to and enforce all OSHA Safety Standards and OBRC policies
- Ensure BottleDrop Redemptions Centers are providing a positive and safe environment for all associates and customers
- Ensure BottleDrop Redemption Centers are meeting cleanliness and safety standards
- Implement education, awareness and preventative measures to reduce employee theft
- Oversee and approve supply inventory and monthly supply orders
- Oversee AOS cash audits and verify centers are meeting operational expectations
- Review and maintain departmental budgets, keeping regular communication with Director of BottleDrop Operations
- Review and redefine policies and procedures as needed for safety and efficiency
- Review all Workers Compensation claims, medical leave and accommodation requests submitted by Area Operations Supervisors
- Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education is required
- Minimum of 5 years supervisory/management/leadership experience, preferably in a retail or production environment

- Experience working within budgetary constraints
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate professionally at all levels with internal and external business partners
- Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, handle frequent changes effectively and professionally, follow through on issues in a timely manner, and give excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency and professional knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- A current driver’s license and acceptable driving history is required

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
- Must adhere to all PPE protocols/requirements when visiting redemption centers.
- Must be able to stand and walk.
- Most work is done in normal office settings – use of chair and desk
