The Role : Warehouse Lead

Landsberg Orora is seeking a Warehouse Lead. Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, operates in a lead capacity coordinating various aspects of the cartage operation.

What You’ll be Responsible For in this Role

• Assists the Warehouse Manager and other coworkers in ensuring that all activities are conducted according to safe work practices and ensures the highest level of safety consciousness in all operations.
• Consistently conducts himself / herself in alignment with the principles set forth by the company mission statement and company values.
• Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Lead will lead (guide) the outbound operations including picking, routing, dispatch and shipment.
• Maintains accurate inventory.
• Operates the Warehouse Management System.
• Coordinates the activities with day and night warehouse operations.
• Provides training and development for coworkers.
• Works with the Warehouse Manager on various administrative responsibilities.
• Works with other departments to achieve goals.
• Performs back-up to the Warehouse Manager as needed.
• Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, provides input on workload activities and coworker assignments to accomplish daily and weekly tasks.
• Works with the Warehouse Manager on onboarding of permanent and temporary coworkers.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications

Education and Experience :

• High school graduate or GED equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in trucking and distribution
• A CDL Class A is preferred
