What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cycle Counter 1st Shift position at OSI?
This role is responsible for the support of the administrative & cycle count duties of the total department. This candidate must be well-organized, a team player and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities

Understand systems and processes of all internal operations & the dynamics of all material movement within the facility.

Accurately identify product and packaging dynamics.

Identify conditions within the facility that are contributing to inventory inaccuracies.

Use RF equipment to complete cycle counts.
-
Identify mistakes/inconsistencies that may affect the overall accuracy of the inventory and report findings to supervisor.

This role has the responsibility to understand and places in practice appropriate safety procedures. This responsibility is achieved through education, training, use of protective equipment (as applicable) and by following safety policies, regulations, standards, and laws.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills

Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office Suite Products.

Strong computer skills and working knowledge/understanding of Warehouse Management Systems.
Education

High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience is required.

Some college experience preferred.
Work Environment

Work can be performed within a manufacturing plant environment with noise, extreme temperatures, and significant movement of powered equipment, people and conveyor (may depend on the role).

Work conditions are typical of an office & plant environment.

This role does not require any domestic travel.

Position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Position may require frequent and/or infrequent of bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
