In-House Accountant 

Are you a detail-oriented Accountant or Bookkeeper who wants to:

As an In-House Accountant, you will serve with a team to carry out daily accounting operations, engage in financial reporting, and identify inefficiencies to recommend process improvements. 

Compensation and Benefits for this role include: 

• Annual salary based on non-insurance/insurance accounting experience 

• Hybrid schedule - remote work possible, or can work 100% in office if desired

To be successful in this position, you’ll need: 

• An Accounting degree or comparable years of experience 

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial principles 

• Proficiency in accounting software and Excel; experience with “Applied Epic” or “NetSuite” is a plus 

• To be organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines 

• To be a strong communicator who can collaborate effectively across departments 

As an In-House Accountant, you’ll be expected to: 

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations 

• Identify errors or inefficiencies and recommend process improvements 

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies 

• Be able to explain postings and assist with audits and provide accurate documentation as needed 

• Partner with leadership to address and solve complex financial challenges
