Our Lady of Hope is a nonprofit, nondenominational senior care community sponsored by the Catholic Diocese of Richmond, located in Richmond's West End. It is our mission to enhance the quality of life for each resident through personalized attention and senior services. Our Lady of Hope is currently seeking a caring and dedicated Assistant Director of Nursing . Duties will include but not limited to :
1.Assist Director in managing clinical operations of the nursing department.
2.Develop nursing programs to ensure quality patient services.
3.Plan and assign workload to nursing staffs on shift basis.
4.Supervise and guide nursing staffs on their daily job duties.
5.Ensure nursing staffs follow department procedures and policies
6.Identify department issues and recommend corrective actions.
7.Assist in department budget preparation and expense management activities.
8.Analyze audit results and implement audit recommendations.
9.Address patient complaints promptly to ensure patient satisfaction.
10.Ensure that nursing staffs perform assigned duties accurately and timely.
11.Assist in recruiting, training and disciplining new hires.
12.Evaluate performance of nursing department and recommend improvements.
13.Provide job training to nursing staff to meet department goals.
14.Schedule regular meeting to discuss about any patient service updates, issues and recommendations.
15.Ensure that nursing programs comply with federal, state and local standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Qualifications-RN
- Management experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency in EMR and EHR systems
- Strong background in nurse management and HIPAA compliance
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records management
- Critical care experience and supervisory skills
- Previous experience in patient care and nursing home settings
- Familiarity with Level II Trauma Center protocols
- Ability to work in various healthcare environments such as hospitals, hospice care, and assisted living facilitiesJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:
