Business Intelligence Developer
Owen Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer. The candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining our data analysis and reporting solutions. The developer must be able to effectively communicate with the Pre-Construction, Building Information Modeling, Estimate, Operations, Purchasing, and the finance departments to translate their needs into a business intelligence solution including models, dashboards, and reports. The candidate will have strong SQL programming knowledge and the ability to translate end-user requirements into technical requirements.
Primary Responsibilities
- Writing SQL queries, views, complex stored procedures
- Development of dashboards and Crystal reports for data analysis
- Maintain and develop SQL queries and reports
- Development of earned value labor analysis reports
- Development of financial forecasting
- Provide training on reporting solutions to end users
- Development and translation of the company’s requirements into analytical specifications
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or an equivalent related field
- 3 years of SQL Server experience
- 2 years of Crystal SAP reporting experience
- Strong Work Ethic
- Good Organization and communication skills
- 2 years experience in ERP Accounting Software (preferred)
- Experience in the electrical construction industry (preferred)
