Job Summary:
PACCAR Winch produces the Braden, CARCO, Gearmatic Winch brands in Okmulgee, Oklahoma is seeking a Quality Supervisor. This is a hands-on position that requires managing the daily activities of the Quality Assurance department. The Quality Supervisor will lead and promote the facility’s Quality Program by systematically identifying quality gaps and implementing robust solutions to ensure we deliver Quality products to our customers. The individual will partner with the process owners to develop and implement procedures and processes to ensure product Quality and Consistency. The Quality Supervisor proactively identifies risks, assesses the relevant controls, and executes the necessary actions.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
· Comply with Safety Policies and Procedures
· Follow the Quality Management System.
· Assign, train, and supervise the Quality Inspectors.
· Compose and maintain work instructions for the inspectors that meet the Quality Manual requirements.
· Audit data gathering activities and regularly check the accuracy of the data.
· Coordinate quality inspections to ensure a balanced workload is achieved for timely processing of received material and in process material.
· Review the First Article Reports on Supplied Product for conformance to specifications. Notify the Team of the inspection results.
· Represent the Quality Department in Material Review Board activities. Work with the Team to Control and Disposition the rejected material. Notify the Team of the products disposition.
· Audit and oversee inspection of rework and repair work order processes to ensure that the work performed is in accordance with the Material Review Boards instructions.
· Work with the Team to initiate corrective actions to prevent producing non-conforming material.
· Lead the regular Corrective Action meetings. Complete the Corrective Action Reports with the Team.
· Support the Customer Service, Warranty and Production Teams with the evaluation reports and corrective actions for customer returned product.
· In cooperation with the Purchasing Department, manage the First Article Samples of castings, purchased components, and outside machining.
· Performs or participates in Supplier Readiness Reviews and other required supplier surveys as assigned.
· Support the Quality Management System through continuous improvement initiatives, internal audits, and auditing implemented corrective actions.
· Support all departments and process owners with controls to ensure stable processes throughout both the Okmulgee and Broken Arrow Facilities.
· Communicate Quality Control related topics with the Team during regular meetings.
· Ensure gages used to measure production components and assemblies are in calibration.
Qualifications:
· Professional experience in manufacturing and assembly.
Preferred qualifications:
· Previous experience in Quality
· Previous supervisory experience
· Degree in a technical discipline
· Lean manufacturing experience
· Experience with computer-controlled measurement devices
· PFMEA Experience
· Process Capability Experience
· Auditing Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of metrology and geometric, dimensioning and tolerancing techniques.

- Working knowledge of continuous improvement tools and methodologies, training and experience in the use of Six Sigma tools a plus.

- Thorough understanding of the process approach as described in ISO 9001 standards, interpretation of these requirements and the implementation of ISO 9001 standard throughout a manufacturing system.
- Successful record of developing effective work teams. Demonstrated technical ability and problem-solving skills applied to quality, safety, and process improvements.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:
A very mobile position requiring lots of walking on concrete floors.
Must be able to bend, squat, reach, and handle parts.
Must be able to inspect tooling and machinery.
Must be able to wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) required on the shop floor.
This position requires mobility around heavy machinery, forklifts, and loud noise.
Lift/move/ transport items up to 35 pounds.
Must be able to ascend/ descend stairs or ladders.
Occasional travel approximately 5% in a year.
