What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Test Technician position at PACE Worldwide?
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Education or experience requirements shall include technical school graduate or an associate’s degree in a technical field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
· Strong understanding of electrical theory, circuitry, and testing methodologies. Soldering skills are preferable.
· Ability to read engineering drawings and understand specifications required. Strong oral and written communications skills are critical in this position.
· The ability to determine the priority sequence of tasks performed based upon production schedules, engineering specifications, and change orders as well as the ability to make decisions concerning specification and quality conformance.
· Excellent judgment and interpersonal skills are very important to the successful performance of technical responsibilities as well as having a proactive and flexible approach for completing tasks as required.
DUTIES:
· Troubleshoot electrical/electronic systems and equipment to ensure they properly meet company standards.
- Liaises with Engineering and production cell(s) to address identified electrical issues.
- Responsible for testing and repairing electronic products.
- Responsible for the calibration, verification, and troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical systems utilizing the following equipment and resources: Multifunctional meters, Oscilloscopes, power analyzers, digital analyzers, in-house test units, schematics, mechanical drawings, and bills of materials.
· Provide feedback to the production cell(s) and design engineering based on product quality during inspection.
- Assist with assembly work instructions as directed.
- Assist with product transition from engineering development to production.
- Assist in checking the accuracy and settings of precision instruments used in performing responsibilities in conformance with PACE’s QA program.
- Support engineering evaluation and testing for new and existing product designs and upgrades.
- Support continuous improvement efforts for products and processes.
- Undertake such additional responsibilities as directed or required.

Pay: $26.19 - $28.72 per hour
