A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER - SUPERINTENDENT
As a Construction Project Manager - Superintendent, you manage projects worth up to $500,000. Daily, you guide the progress of your team while minimizing risks and issues. With your excellent communication skills, you provide regular updates and status reports to customers and our management team. Using your organization skills, you track all project documentation, expenses, invoices, and internal labor usage. You also hire subcontractors and manage those relationships. As you plan for future business opportunities, you create estimates and bids.
Your style of management fosters teamwork, respect, accountability, and trust. Always looking for ways to streamline operations, you follow, implement, and monitor project management standards as established by our company. You get great satisfaction out of helping to ensure quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction for our growing company!
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of direct experience in one or more construction trades
- 5 years of experience managing projects or portions of projects
- 2 years of experience estimating and bidding on jobs
- Computer literacy
- Comfortable with and willing to learn to work in highly regulated environments, such as healthcare facilities and refineries
Project management certification, such as Project Management Professional (PMP)®, is preferred but not required. Do you enjoy being a leader and promoting team collaboration?
