Position Title: Portfolio Manager
Department: Private Banking
SUMMARY
Paragon Bank has expanded from a small local community bank in Memphis, TN to a regional community bank now located in four states, TN, MS, GA, and NC with just over 100 employees. We currently have an open position for a Portfolio Manager in our Private Banking Department. This position provides service and support to existing and prospective customers and assists in the management of loan and deposit account relationships.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and grow existing portfolio by serving as the first point of contact for new and existing customers.
- Assist clients with opening new accounts and look for additional opportunities to deepen client relationships.
- Process and prepare loan packages for renewals and new loan requests.
- Monitor loan and deposit exception and past due report.
- Proactively resolve financial document and collateral exceptions.
- Assist Department Manager by acting as liaison to the Credit Department, other Private Banking support staff, and other internal business partners.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AN EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of banking experience with a minimum of 2 years in a Portfolio Manager or Relationship Manager role
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, banking products and services, and sales principles
- Advanced and effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- 5 years of customer service experience
- Excellent communication skills (orally & written)
- Effective multitasking and organizational skills
- 3 years of Microsoft Office experience
- Must be self-motivated with the ability to use sound judgement

- Bachelor’s degree

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
