Park Terrace Rehabilitation Center seeks a skilled and experienced Director of Facilities to oversee all facility-related operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and smooth functioning of plant operations. The ideal candidate will have experience skilled nursing facility, with a strong understanding of the Life Safety Code regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, organize, and evaluate the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with Life Safety Code (LSC), OSHA, CMS guidelines, and other local, state, and federal regulations.
- Manage and coordinate various facility services, including housekeeping, laundry, security, maintenance, and groundskeeping, ensuring high cleanliness, safety, and efficiency standards.
- Lead the facility’s emergency preparedness efforts, working alongside the Administrator to develop, implement, and maintain disaster plans and safety drills.
- Oversee the preventative maintenance program, ensuring timely inspections, repairs, and necessary upgrades to equipment and infrastructure.
- Maintain department budgets, manage inventory, and handle purchasing of supplies and equipment.
- Ensure proper documentation and completion of required forms, reports, and evaluations.
- Safeguard the confidentiality of resident and facility information at all times.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a skilled nursing facility, specifically with knowledge of Life Safety Code regulations.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, with proven experience managing multiple operational areas within a facility.
- Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments and facility leadership.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
