PathPoint is seeking part-time Job Coaches (Direct Support Professionals) in Thousand Oaks, CA. Job Coaches support adults with disabilities at their place of work, helping them maintain successful employment and enjoy the satisfaction of a job well done.
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week. Flexible Schedule, weekend and evening availability needed.
Compensation: This is an hourly, non-exempt position starting at $21.50 per hour. If you are bilingual (Spanish or ASL), the starting wage is $21.80 per hour. The pay range for this position is $16.83-$25.90, the pay range is subject to change based on a variety of factors.

**Benefits noted with an asterisk are for full-time employees regularly scheduled for 30 hours per week.
What You'll Do:
- Accompany individuals to their place of work, observe their abilities, and identify any areas for improvement. Provide feedback and assistance to increase productivity and encourage positive work behavior.
- Coach and counsel individuals on workplace issues/concerns, and advocate for them when needed.
- Assist individuals in completing work-related paperwork, such as time cards, time off requests, tax forms, and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain good relationships with employers and workplace supervisors, and act as liaison between employers, workplace supervisors, and individuals.
- Assist in developing and implementing an individualized plan for coaching individuals to work more independently, with the eventual goal of complete self-sufficiency.
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience supporting or instructing individuals with disabilities is preferred but not required; if you are interested in this job but do not have directly relevant experience, we'd love to hear from you!
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with individuals with disabilities, their family members, social workers, employers, and others in a positive and constructive manner.
- Ability to work independently, including creating own schedule and demonstrating a high level of accountability and dependability
- Must have reliable transportation for regular travel throughout Ventura County, including visiting multiple locations in one day.
- Culturally aware, acknowledges diverse employee backgrounds, possesses skills to collaborate across cultures, and avoids biased assumptions based on cultural differences.
- High school diploma or GED is required.

Salary : $17 - $26
