Job Description
Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:*
- Organize and facilitate monthly cohort meetings
- Support students in setting weekly, monthly and yearly goal
- Plan and host SAT/ACT preparation seminars, support students with test registration, and ensure scores are reported to Universities/Colleges
- Navigate students through College Board website
- Guide students research and application for scholarships and grants
- Provide guidance and support to students completing college and FAFSA applications
- Support qualified students in Educational Opportunity Program entry
- Host seminars on resume/cover letter writing and provide interview preparation for students
- Coordinate and facilitate 3-5 college tour visits a year
- Support Students in Experiential Learning Activities and create a safe environment for them during the high school to college transition
- Build relationships with client school staff to create a seamless, open flow of communication between all parties involved.
- Work with school leadership teams, counselors, teachers, and point people to communicate cohort and college tour information.
- Perform other functions and duties as assigned.

- Ability to synergize with colleagues and corporate staff to manage and monitor the growth of the company.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and demonstrate problem-solving skills, while maintaining courtesy, professionalism, and a customer service attitude.
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in G Suite productivity tools, such as Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms and Hangouts Meet.
- Reliable transportation to travel to regional cohort meetings.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Must have experience working with a wide range of populations (both youth and adult clients from diverse backgrounds).
- Experience working in a college admission setting preferred.
Pay: Starting at $24/hr
