We are actively recruiting a Data Warehouse Developer for our client in Louisville, KY. This is a hybrid direct placement opportunity that will require onsite work in Louisville three days a week. Primary responsibilities include implementing and maintaining data warehouse solutions. Must have expertise in SQL Server and data modeling, along with a solid understanding of ETL processes.
Due to client request, candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Essential Functions :
Implement robust data pipelines to ingest, process, and store large volumes of data from various sources.
Build and maintain data models, data marts, cubes, and ETL processes to support data analytics and reporting needs.
Collaborate with data warehouse architect, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and testing processes.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Required Education, Experience and Skills
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field required.
Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Data Warehouse Developer or similar role.
5 years leveraging Microsoft technologies (SQL, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, Power BI).
Experience in Azure Devops or similar technology.
Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Experience in Visio, Lucidchart or other diagramming software.
Strong organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data, systems, and processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with cross-functional teams.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
