What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Flagger position at PBS?
We are a Facility Services company based in Brooklyn. We provided many different services in the Tri-State area. With strategic footholds in the facility services market, we have been able to capitalize on existing and emerging contracts to become one of the top facility services company in the Tri State area. Traffic Plan seeks Flaggers to set up & direct traffic around construction sites. Will be doing Flagging and general labor.
Responsibilities:
• Set up a safe work zone with all necessary cones, barrels, barricades etc.
• Use stop and slow paddles to control the flow of traffic and perform lane closures.
• Effective communication with your work partner to conduct the flow of traffic.
• Provide leadership support and guidance to ensure that safety standards are met and maximized at all time. (Don’t forget your safety bonus!)
ONLY MONDAYS
Qualifications
• Flagger Licenses MUST HAVE
• Comfortable standing 8-12 hours and lifting 40-60lbs.
• Comfortable working around a high volume of fast-moving traffic.
• This is an outdoor position and you will work in all weather conditions.
• Ability to multitask and have a heightened awareness of your surrounding
Salary : $15 - $16
