• Lead tax compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to all federal and state tax laws and regulations while optimizing systems and controls.
• Review and approve accurate, timely tax returns for a diverse client base, including corporations, partnerships, individuals, trusts, and non-profits.
• Act as a trusted tax advisor, staying current on legislative and regulatory changes to guide the team and clients effectively.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to maximize benefits from changes in tax legislation.
• Identify process improvements and risk mitigation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Mentor and support the tax team, fostering professional development and engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Active CPA certification (required).
• 7 years of experience in public accounting, including 5 years in a management role.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, tax preparation software, and research tools.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
