About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our affordable housing properties in Madison, AL. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our properties are well-maintained, fully occupied, and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You will work closely with our Real Estate Development team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and with our Lease Administration team to ensure that all lease agreements are properly executed and enforced. Your ultimate goal will be to provide our residents with safe, comfortable, and affordable housing that meets their needs and exceeds their expectations.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Property Management.
- Strong knowledge of Yardi Systems or similar property management software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Rental and Leasing Industry.
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal affordable housing programs and regulations.
- Experience with budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and resident relations.
- Ensure that all properties are in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing and building inspections.
- Work closely with our Asset Manager team to identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and to develop and implement long-term strategic plans.
- Collaborate with our Lease Administration team to ensure that all lease agreements are properly executed and enforced, and that all residents are treated fairly and respectfully.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all property-related activities, including financial transactions, maintenance requests, and resident communications.

As a Property Manager, you will use your expertise in Property Management, Lease Agreements, Yardi Systems, Fair Housing, Building Inspections, and Lease Administration on a daily basis. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with residents, vendors, and team members, and to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. You will also need to be able to analyze financial data, identify trends and opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
