Summary:
The Medical Laboratory Assistant (MLA) functions as a phlebotomist, performs and is trained to assist in the performance of routine laboratory testing. In addition to blood collection, MLAs will process blood and other body fluid samples, perform quality control, operate laboratory equipment and perform simple laboratory tests.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA,PHLEBOTOMY CERTIFICATE OR HIGHER
- Experience: HEALTHCARE EXPERIENCE IS PREFERRED, BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Required skills: BASIC COMPUTER, MUST BE ABLE TO FOLLOW PRECISE PROCEDURES Preferred
