Customer Interaction & Problem Solving
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand their technical challenges and requirements.
- Translate customer needs into design requirements, ensuring solutions are aligned with expectations and functional goals.
- Design innovative products, with a primary focus on feeding fasteners through our machines.
- Generate detailed technical drawings, incorporating GD&T standards.
- Develop and optimize designs to enhance manufacturability, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead customer projects from inception to completion, ensuring that timelines are met and the final product meets quality standards.
- Coordinate across teams to keep projects on track, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Work closely with manufacturing teams to test and validate new designs, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring products meet specifications.
- Conduct design reviews, participate in testing procedures, and implement modifications as necessary based on test feedback.
- Stay informed on industry trends, continuously seek new knowledge, and proactively identify opportunities for product and process enhancements.
