Position Summary
Responsible for managing the creation of proposals, presentations and marketing materials. The Marketing Manager is involved in strategic marketing developments relating to all levels of Pepper Construction. The ability to effectively manage time, multi-task and pay close attention to detail are essential to this position.
Major Responsibilities
- Work with the marketing team and proposed project team to develop and direct differentiator-based strategy, outlines, proposals, qualifications packages and presentation materials for all pursuits.
- Manage the response process for RFQs and RFPs; lead the writing, development and compilation of information.
- Lead preparations for interviews and presentations. Coach and direct the interview team at rehearsals as appropriate.
- Edit and revise work developed by others prior to submittal.
- Manage the marketing team and create an enthusiastic, responsive, client-first, service-oriented culture.
- Work in a team atmosphere with all other areas of Marketing, Communications and Business Development.
- Assist employees with marketing questions, concerns and issues in a timely and effective manner.
Position Requirements
- BS in Marketing, Communications or related field
- 6 years' experience in marketing field
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft applications, particularly InDesign and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong proofreading and editing skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Understanding of the fundamental principles of graphic layout
- Ability to create and maintain a collaborative team environment; to build relationships and effectively work with all levels of employees.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
