Role Summary
Our client, a leader in renewable and conventional power generation, is seeking a highly motivated Finance Manager to directly support the day-to-day accounting functions for operational entities and other related business units. As the company transitions to a sustainable development strategy, focusing on renewable energy sources such as solar PV, battery storage, and wind , this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of energy while expanding the finance team with seasoned professionals.
This is a non-remote role that requires the candidate to work onsite in Buffalo Grove, IL , Monday through Friday. The ideal candidate must be able to work in the United States without employer support or sponsorship.
Responsibilities
- Review credit agreements, depositary agreements, and other project contracts to ensure compliance with covenants and reporting requirements.
- Organize monthly management meetings and serve as the liaison with international equity partners.
- Prepare and present budgets, financial statements, and ad hoc accounting reports to senior management.
- Generate GAAP financial statements for client entities and maintain partners' capital accounts in line with operating agreements.
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure the accurate preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and payments.
- Monitor and manage bank accounts with various financial institutions, overseeing treasury functions for corporate and subsidiaries.
- Consolidate subsidiaries' cash forecasts, process intercompany transfers, and manage revolver lines of credit.
