Peri & Sons Farms is seeking applications for a full-time HUMAN RESOURCES BUSINESS PARTNER in Yerington, NV. This position may be a hybrid (partially remote/partially on-site) position.
Position Summary:
This position reports to the Director of Human Resources. The position manages various HR workflows and provides professional HR support to other personnel within the organization. Some of the job functions include:
- Providing consultation and direction on HR-related matters, such as employee relations, performance management and discipline, FMLA matters, and ADA matters.
- Assisting with and overseeing recruitment activities.
- Conducting workplace investigations.
- Assisting with the development of policies, procedures, and other HR-related documents, and providing policy interpretation and guidance.
- Ensuring fairness, consistency, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations in the handling of personnel matters.
- Partnering with other work groups to understand their operations and help them accomplish their goals and objectives in a manner that comports with HR best practices.
- Managing and providing lead direction to others.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- PHR or SPHR certification (or equivalent or higher certification)
- Five or more years of experience in Human Resources, at least two of which were at the level of HRBP or HR Manager (or equivalent level).
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
This position primarily works in an office setting and/or remotely but may occasionally need to be present in a field, packing facility, or mechanic shop setting.
Compensation:
