Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, particularly with Used Car Reconditioning vehicles, and possess the ability to diagnose and resolve various mechanical issues. This role requires expertise in both powertrain and automotive electrical systems. The Automotive Mechanic will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and performance of our clients' vehicles.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automotive systems, including powertrain and electrical components.
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Repair or replace faulty parts, including engines, transmissions, and brakes.
- Align wheels and perform suspension repairs as needed.
- Execute auto body repairs to restore vehicles to their original condition.
- Utilize welding techniques for structural repairs when necessary.
- Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) to ensure proper functionality.
- Maintain accurate records of all services performed on vehicles.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Proficient in automotive repair techniques, particularly for Used Car Reconditioning.
- Strong understanding of powertrain systems and automotive electrical systems.
- Experience with all makes and models is highly desirable.
- Ability to align vehicles and perform suspension adjustments effective
- Familiarity with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
