Talent Acquisition Manager
Piggly Wiggly Alabama Distributing Company, Inc. supplies grocery products to hundreds of Piggly Wiggly and other-branded grocers throughout the southeast from our million-square-foot warehouse in Bessemer. AL. We’re seeking an experienced professional recruiter to join our 4-person HR Team as Manager of Talent Acquisition.
As head of a department of one, you’ll report to the Corporate Director of HR and be responsible for staffing virtually all company jobs, including corporate staff, warehouse management, and our CDL truck drivers who deliver product to stores. Most positions are located at our Bessemer headquarters, while a few are field based, so you’ll work alongside your hires.
Your responsibilities will include all things staffing, including employment branding, working with managers to spec out jobs, developing and implementing creative sourcing plans, assessing candidates and helping managers hire the most suitable candidates. We’re a small, tight, hands-on HR department, and this is a hands-on, in-office job.
