What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Employee position at Pilot Grove Savings Bank?
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with superior customer service skills to work in the operations department at our headquarters in Pilot Grove, Iowa. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Serve customers by completing account transactions.
- Answer customer and employee inquiries in person and on the phone.
- Provide account services to customer by receiving deposits, loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals and processing mail and night drop deposits.
- Open new deposit accounts for customers.
- Maintain supply of cash and currency. Balance cash drawers, Automated Teller Machines (ATM) and the vault daily.
- Troubleshoot online banking and debit card issues with customers including passwords and PIN resets.
- Process daily reports and conduct accounting reconcilements.
- Critical bank processing such as ACH, Cash Letter, Wires, Cash Manager and Dayend processing.
- Assist IT with troubleshooting software challenges and implementing new bank technology.
- Gather data and reports for Auditors and Examiners as requested.
- Maintain customer confidentiality and protect bank operations by keeping bank information confidential.
- Collaborate with a fun and dedicated team to ensure the bank’s processing remains working well for all bank employees and customers with a positive attitude.
- Other projects and duties as assigned by the Cashier and Management.
