HABISTORE - 3 POSITIONS OPEN at $17.00 per hour
WHO YOU REPORT TO: STORE MANAGER
COMMITMENT EXPECTED: up to 19.5 hours a week includes 1 weekend day (will work with school schedule). Must be able to work 1 weekend day.
MODE: In-Person
SALARY: Hourly, $17.00 per hour
PLEASE NOTE: This position is only available to active and enrolled Pima Community College students with work authorization status. Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Education and Experience for all Positions:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- Experience in excellent customer service skills
- Sales experience in a retail store
- Knowledge of POS and computers, including Microsoft Office
Languages: Fluency in a second language, ideally Spanish, is desirable but not required.

- HABISTORE MERCHANDISING/ CASHIER ASSOCIATE
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO WORK ON:
The HabiStore Merchandising Associate is responsible for processing inbound merchandise, the placement and presentation of merchandise on selling floor, replenishing purchased product.. Participate when needed in other store initiatives as required, including but not limited to floor recovery, supply replenishment, cashier support and customer service during peak business periods. Must possess the ability to lift and carry boxes up to 50lb and move inventory with the use hand Pallet jack Moving dollies, flat carts up to 150 lbs. Ability to use available technology (Pricing guns, Teams Phone.) This position will also assist in relieving cashier for breaks and covering during vacations and sick days. Associate will process customers at the checkout using the SHOPIFY point of sale (POS) system.
Job Duties Include:

- Manage and engage volunteers to give them a great experience
- Abide by all store policies and procedures.
- Answer customer and donor questions that donors may have about the mission of Habitat for Humanity Tucson.
- Help Unload trucks and assist the warehouse personnel.
- Serve as a backup to the all HabiStore positions. (See Cashier job description)
- Keep the store safe, organized, and clean.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.

2. HABISTORE RECEIVING ASSOCIATE
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO WORK ON:
The HabiStore Associate will provide quality customer service by ensuring the customers and donors feel welcomed and at ease. This position is responsible for closing sales at the HabiStore. They will assist customers from the time they come into the store, show them where items are located, and help them make a purchase. The HabiStore Associate needs to have the ability to share the mission and answer questions from customers and donors. This position will assist in pickups of donations from donors and represent Habitat for Humanity Tucson (HFHT) in a professional manner.
Job Duties Include:
- Help engage volunteers to give them a great experience.
- Abide by all store policies and procedures.
- Answer customer and donor questions that donors may have about the mission of Habitat for Humanity Tucson.
- Help Unload trucks upon return and assist the warehouse personnel.
- Help Receiving Supervisor price and process items to the salesfloor.
- Maintain a safe loading dock and dumpster area.
- Keep the store safe, organized, and clean.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.

3. HABISTORE FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE & ADMIN
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO WORK ON:
The HabiStore Associate will provide quality customer service by ensuring the customers and donors feel welcomed and at ease. This position is responsible for greeting customers and answering salesfloor calls at the HabiStore. They will assist customers from the time they come into the store, show them where items are located, and help them make a purchase. The HabiStore Associate needs to have the ability to share the mission and answer questions from customers and donors. This position also includes administrative duties, such as data entry and other administrative duties.
Job Duties Include:
- Manage and engage volunteers to give them a great experience.
- Abide by all store policies and procedures.
- Answer customer and donor questions that donors may have about the mission of Habitat for Humanity Tucson.
- Answer salesfloor phone calls
- Greet and engage customers as they walk into the Habistore
- Keep the store safe, organized, and clean.
- Other duties as assigned by Management.
