Job Purpose:

We are now seeking an experienced bicycle mechanic who is looking to grow their career and skills with a growing bicycle shop. Integrity of character with a passion for cycling. Collaborative and able to work in a team environment helping others in need and asking for help when needed. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Create a positive customer experience.
Work on all aspects of bicycle maintenance and repair.
Interfacing with customers, giving expert mechanical advice and service options.
Complete service work orders from intake to pick-up in a timely manner, with limited reworks and without supervisor.
Troubleshooting and diagnostics of mechanical and electronic components.
Part identification and ordering
Assist with sales as needed
Answering phone
Assist Shoppers
Skills:
Customer Service, Wheel Building, Hub Rebuild, Suspension Rebuild, Brake System maintenance (Rim and Hub), Crank system maintenance, Drive Chain System maintenance, Tires and Tubes repair and replacement, Point of Sale Software System Knowledge.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Bicycle Mechanic
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required
Basic retail math skills for processing payments and providing accurate estimates
Outstanding customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of bicycle mechanic experience working in a shop environment.
Associates of Science and 2 years of mechanics experience.
United Bicycle Institute Pro-Shop Certification
Shimano, Campagnolo, Sram, etc.…Certification
e-Bike Certification
Skilled in using Lightspeed POS
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
