We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist customers with inquiries, resolve issues, and promote our products and services to fit each customer's individual needs. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their inquiries in a friendly manner.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing, discounts, and promotions.
- Offer products and services to customers based on their individual needs.
- Maintain an organized stock area to ensure product availability for customers.
- Resolve customer complaints effectively while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to provide accurate information to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
- Maintain all customer and employee areas to ensure safety and cleanliness of the store.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Strong in-person and phone communication skills are a necessity for handling customer needs.
- Basic math skills are essential for processing transactions and assisting with retail math calculations.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must be able to pass a background check/pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be able to lift and carry 20-40lbs.
- Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team when necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
