RN Night Supervisor
Our ideal candidate shines bright in the night sky and is as reliable as the moon.
Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and support the nursing team in delivering quality nursing care.
- Visit residents/patients to evaluate their physical and mental status and provide care according to their individual plans.
- Act as the first responder to all emergencies on the night shift, assess the situation and implement actions according to policy.
- Ensure physician orders are carried out efficiently and competently by nursing team members.
- Communicate change of condition or incidents to the appropriate parties in a timely and professional manner.
- Complete and/or delegate routine tasks regularly assigned to the night shift.
- Assist with training, supporting, and evaluating the night shift team members.
- Lead and/or participate in investigations resulting from incidents.
- Conduct infection control and quality rounds to consistently maintain compliance with DOH and CDC guidelines.
- Administer medications and treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation and assist with records and file organization.
Required Qualifications
Experience in the long-term care industry is preferred, although we will train the right candidate.
We do require that you are an LPN or RN.
