We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Coffee Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our coffee shop. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, along with strong leadership skills to manage staff and ensure an exceptional experience for our customers. This role involves maintaining high standards of food safety, managing budgets, and fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Manage daily operations of the coffee shop, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Supervise, train, and develop staff to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain product knowledge.
- Implement food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and managing stock levels.
- Utilize Square POS system for transactions, inventory tracking, and reporting.
- Develop budgets and monitor financial performance to achieve business goals.
- Coordinate catering services for events as needed.
- Foster a welcoming atmosphere for customers while promoting a culture of teamwork among staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage offerings.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience with fine dining or upscale service environments is a plus.
- Excellent budgeting skills with the ability to analyze financial reports.
- Strong supervisory skills with experience in training development for team members.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
