Job Title: Clinical Systems and Data Analyst
Supervisor: Director of Health Informatics
This is not a remote position. This is an in office position.
Job Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Health Informatics the Clinical Systems and Data Analyst is responsible for functioning as a resource to the organization regarding the collection of data and analysis. Collects and analyzes financial, operational and clinical data from various information systems. Prepares reports and dashboards aligning with organization requirements and goals ensuring design principles for clarity and ease of use. Develops special reports as requested. May confer with site/department personnel as a subject matter expert to determine specific data needs to develop or make changes to reporting design, ensuring organization standardization. Responsible for all workstreams within reporting including, but not limited to development, documentation, analysis, validation and/or modifications.
Troubleshoot and repair the reporting mechanisms and collaborate with system vendors for repair assistance as needed.
The Clinical Systems and Data Analyst requires a proficient level of experience in providing support and developing and/or maintaining analytics applications and reporting systems.
May be required to work extended business hours.
Other duties may include, but are not limited to, the following:
1.
Maintain basic eClinicalWorks (eCW) knowledge.
2.
Maintain advanced knowledge on organization chosen reporting mechanisms; attend educational sessions for professional development pertaining to job responsibilities.
3.
Maintain and audit existing datasets for accuracy and compliance.
4.
Maintain current knowledge on healthcare technology and interoperability advancements. Work collaboratively to establish and maintain interoperability with other entities/systems.
5.
Maintain awareness of and complies with various regulatory guidelines and government programs (HIPAA, OSHA, HEDIS, Ohio Pharmacy, etc.).
6.
Actively participate in committees and meetings.
7.
Monitor and manage incoming support requests via multiple modalities.
8.
Train/assist individuals on information systems, ensuring that data inputs (workflows) and information retrieval are done properly.
9.
Supports the installation and development of reporting and computer information systems.
10.
Assist with data collection, analysis, and distribution to and from various information systems.
11.
Perform systems checks to ensure that proper organizational and regulatory policies/workflows are being followed.
Qualifications:
1.
Must have High School Diploma. Computer Science or Information Systems Degree preferred.
2.
Must maintain continuing education as required per certifications.
3.
Healthcare data analysis experience preferred.
4.
Possess a basic knowledge of Microsoft Power Platforms.
5.
Experience with relational databases and data mining preferred.
6.
Current working knowledge of HL7 and ADT codes preferred.
7.
Previous eCW experience preferred.
8.
Comprehensive knowledge of medical and technical terminologies required.

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
