As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will carry out physical and psychological exams, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate patient transitions within the healthcare setting. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct physical and psychological exams and document patient histories.
  • Provide basic healthcare treatment and prescribe medications as needed.
  • Review patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
  • Attend to patients with care, compassion, and understanding.
  • Function independently to perform age-appropriate assessments for complex and chronically ill patients.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests based on age-specific needs.
  • Implement interventions to support patient stability and monitor treatment effectiveness.
  • Facilitate Medication Services within Substance Use Disorder programs as applicable.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Oversee care coordination activities and facilitate effective communication with external providers.

Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
  • Licensed as a RN in the State of Missouri.
  • Licensed as an APRN by the State of Missouri.
  • Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Current Missouri license in good standing.
  • Obtain a Federal DEA license.
  • Willingness to explore/obtain DATA 2000 Waiver.

Additional Qualifications:
  • Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
  • Applicant must be willing to become licensed in additional states and provide telehealth services.

Physical Requirements:
  • ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects, including the human body.
  • Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
  • Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
