As an Advanced Practice Nurse, you will carry out physical and psychological exams, prescribe treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate patient transitions within the healthcare setting. - Conduct physical and psychological exams and document patient histories.
- Provide basic healthcare treatment and prescribe medications as needed.
- Review patient conditions and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Attend to patients with care, compassion, and understanding.
- Function independently to perform age-appropriate assessments for complex and chronically ill patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests based on age-specific needs.
- Implement interventions to support patient stability and monitor treatment effectiveness.
- Facilitate Medication Services within Substance Use Disorder programs as applicable.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Oversee care coordination activities and facilitate effective communication with external providers.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Licensed as a RN in the State of Missouri.
- Licensed as an APRN by the State of Missouri.
- Two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Current Missouri license in good standing.
- Obtain a Federal DEA license.
- Willingness to explore/obtain DATA 2000 Waiver.
- Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
- Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
- Applicant must be willing to become licensed in additional states and provide telehealth services.
- ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull objects, including the human body.
- Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and/or writing during work shift.
- Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods.
