Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies according to customer preferences and recipes
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and meet food safety standards
- Operate blenders, juicers, and other equipment to create smoothies
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering any questions they may have
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the smoothie station and work area
- Follow all health and safety guidelines when handling food and equipment
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Strong time management skills to ensure smoothies are prepared in a timely manner
- Sales skills to upsell additional items or promote special offers
- Experience handling cash and operating a cash register
- Knowledge of food safety practices and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling and measuring ingredients
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience in food service or retail is preferred but not required
