This successful candidate for this position will :
- Source, phone screen, and conduct interviews to make candidate recommendations to management
- Aid hiring managers in the decision making process by supplying them with any candidate information necessary to make informed, effective hiring decisions
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system
- Continuously source in order to maintain a pool of qualified candidates for future hiring needs
- Build community relationships (by attending job fairs, program specific conventions, etc.)
- Develop a candidate-seeking culture
- Strategize ways of finding good talent and ways to retain good talent
Position Requirements :
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree and / or minimum 2 years of relevant post-secondary education or training
- Minimum 3 years of recruiting experience
- Experience successfully sourcing passive candidates preferred
- Experience recruiting in the healthcare industry a plus
- General knowledge of employment law
- Strong proficiency with MS Office, internet sourcing, and proprietary software
- Strong interviewing and follow-up skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills
Travel : Position requires travel on occasion throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts.
