Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (III or Licensed Highter) to join our team for substance addiction. As a key member of our counseling team, you'll play a crucial role in supporting and empowering individuals on their journey to overcome substance addictions. Your main objective will be guiding members towards leading addiction-free lives. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and support to individuals in need of substance addictions.
Requirements:
Education:
- Maintain or increase competencies and required training
- Licensure/Certification: LCDCIII or Higher
-MUST HAVE ACTIVE NPI & MEDICAID BILLING ID
Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience in the treatment of adults with addictive diseases
- Require basic computer skills
- Requires a basic understanding of Chemical Dependency and 12-Step Philosophy
- Requires a current, valid, unrestricted driver's license
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Clinical Counselor Areas of Responsibilities:
- Ensures patient safety through maintaining confidentiality, verbal de-escalation techniques, and knowledge of policies.and procedures regarding emergencies, performing security and safety checks and reports all patient issues to Clinical Director and Counselors
-Participates with patient's in their therapeutic activities and uses interventions from treatment and plan care of patients.
- Review Documentation
-Facilitates groups and documents client interactions, reactions and behavior in progress notes.
-Demonstrates professional demeanor in dealing with all patient interactions, keeping in mind patients service standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
