About Us:
We are a respected litigation law firm based in Indianapolis, dedicated to advocating for victims of medical malpractice and nursing home neglect. While our office is located in Indianapolis, we handle cases across the state.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of litigation experience and a passion for representing vulnerable clients in need. A background in nursing or other healthcare is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cases involving nursing home neglect and medical malpractice from intake to resolution.
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Participate in depositions, mediations, and court proceedings.
- Collaborate with clients, medical experts, and other attorneys to build compelling cases.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and empathy in client interactions.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in Indiana.
- Minimum of 3 years of personal injury litigation experience, preferably in medical malpractice and/or nursing home neglect.
- Nursing background or other healthcare experience or training preferred but not required.
- Trial experience preferred but not required.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, client-focused representation.
- Willingness to travel within Indiana for case-related matters if needed.
