PMG is seeking a Controller with experience in the healthcare industry to oversee all financial aspects of our organization. The Controller will be responsible for financial reporting, budget management, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations specific to the healthcare sector.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations and reporting
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
- Collaborate with other departments to develop and monitor budgets and forecasts
- Supervise the accounting team and provide guidance and support as needed
- Conduct regular reviews of financial processes to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience as a Corporate Controller or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
- Proficient in financial report writing and analysis
- Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger reconciliation
- Experience with Sage preferred
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to mentor and develop a team
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
Must Have Qualifications to be considered:
- Previous Controller Experience, preferably in the Healthcare Industry
- Audit experience
This position is fully onsite in Naples, FL.
