Position Overview: As our Estate Planning Attorney, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients' long-term financial and personal goals by crafting tailored estate plans. You will work closely with financial planners, tax advisors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of estate and financial strategies. Your expertise in Medicaid planning or interest in developing this specialty will be a valuable asset to our practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients and financial planners to design and implement customized estate plans, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives.
- Provide guidance on tax-efficient strategies for wealth transfer and asset protection.
- Offer advice on Medicaid eligibility and planning, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in estate, tax, and Medicaid laws and communicate their implications to clients and team members.
- Foster strong, long-term relationships with clients, emphasizing personalized and responsive service.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the firm by identifying opportunities to expand estate planning services.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and membership in good standing with the state bar.
- 3 years of experience in estate planning, elder law, or related fields.
- Knowledge of Medicaid planning or a strong interest in developing expertise in this area.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for client service and business development.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
