Job Overview
Overview:
Premier Building Systems is a small to medium structural insulated panel manufacturer located in Puyallup (Frederickson), WA. We are seeking a skilled Project Manager (PM) to lead and coordinate multiple projects from start to finish, ensuring smooth communication and execution throughout the entire project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for our customers, managing a portfolio of 10-15 active projects at any given time. This role requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Auto CAD Experience is beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate projects from quote acceptance through to delivery and post-delivery follow-up.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and approvals (e.g., signed drawings, change orders) using PriceApp.
• Create detailed AutoCAD drawings, panel layouts, and technical details based on architectural plans.
• Educate customers, including homeowners, architects, and engineers, on SIP products and processes.
• Provide ongoing guidance to internal departments, assisting with sales and projections.
• Conduct quality assurance checks on drawings and Bill of Materials (BOMs).
• Investigate and resolve project issues, such as product shortages or miscut panels.
• Participate in job site meetings and collaborate with the sales team on project projections.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree (AutoCAD certification preferred).
• Preferred knowledge of SIP products, construction drawings, and building practices.
• Common computer skills (Word, Excel, Etc.)
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, follow up, and meet deadlines effectively

Working Conditions:

• Office environment with occasional exposure to manufacturing areas and job sites.
• Typical working hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional overtime and weekend work.
• Travel may be required with advance notice.

Pay: $26.00 - $28.00 per hour
