Summary

The Program Managers are responsible for the overall day to day delivery and success of FFYB programs. They lead planning, implementing and evaluating our programs, staff and projects to ensure they align with organizational goals and are delivered on time, within budget and to quality standards.

The Program Managers are responsible for the overall management of organizational programs including program development, implementation and evaluation. This will be a management role where the program manager report oversees all programs and reports to the Executive Director. The program managers work with the Executive Director to establish clear goals and direction for new and existing FFYB’s programs, inspire, lead and supervise 5 team members.You will hold staff accountable to their roles, duties and daily tasks.The programManagers will oversee the day-to-day operations of all FFYB programs, including ensuring program deliverables are met on time, participate in data collection training with funders and supervise program staff to improve program quality, productivity, and efficiency within the organization. They will manage key projects for the programs team under the direct supervision of the Executive Director.

Duties

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram management (50%)
With Support of ED, engage in activity to expand our School age program for licensing with the State of Washington. Work together with ED toidentifying processes, partners, location for programming, complete orientation with State of Washington (DCYF)
●Evaluate the effectiveness of FFYB’s programs and provide recommendations for areas of improvement
●Observe and interact with staff and program participants as necessary to ensure services are consistent, engaging, and relevant to the individuals served
●Learn data collection systems, communication platforms and ensure programs deliverables are met monthly Quarterly
●Attend community meetings, board meetings and meetings with partners and funders
●Oversee development, implementation, quality, measurement, and promotion of programs, products and services.
●Implementing, monitoring, and improving the programs that have been developed and for new programs.
●Serve as spokesperson for the organization and promote its mission, programs, and values. Establish and build strong cooperative relationships with community groups, donors, funders, volunteers, board and clients.
●Engage in deep professional development

Staff support and supervision (40%)
●Lead and inspire staff to accomplish the goals of the organization and understand and fully embrace the mission and values.
●Ensure an engaging climate which attracts, motivates, and supports a talented, diverse staff to effectively execute programs.
●Ensure staff follows organizations’ policies and financial practices and program requirements.
●Build strong relationships with the Board of Directors and staff
●Conduct weekly staff supervision, goal setting and check-ins
●Approve staff work activities
●Lead programs event planning and implementation with staff

Other duties (10%)
●The program managers serve as a partner to the rest of the FFYB leadership team to steward the organization and make sure that the organization’s work is aligned with its mission and vision.
●Modeling effective leadership and management to support a strong organizational culture
●Support annual strategic planning and program planning.
●Building relationships: Fostering organizational relationships and acting as a public spokesperson
●Collaborate with a team to develop professional development goals.
●Proactively create a peaceful work environment for staff and program participants
●Implement strategic plans and goals in keeping with the mission of the program.
●Increase FFYB’s reach in terms of diverse program participants.

Requirements

Additional Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required●Dedication and commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
●Minimum experience in people management.
●Demonstrated ability to take initiative and lead self and others.
●Strong data analysis, collection and reporting skills
●Excellent communication, problem-solving and leadership skills.
●Knowledge of or willingness to learn about the Washington State Early Learning and School Age program guidelines and requirements for working with youth and families.
●Resourceful and proficient in Microsoft office suites, internet, google docs, iPad and other technology
●Must be innovative

Requirements●AA or bachelor’s degree
●Years of Experience and knowledge of the community we serve could compensate for education
●Some College Credits will acceptable
Available weekends and Evenings
Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
Reflect the population we serve and have reliable transportation.
