I have a long term opportunity for an IT Software Asset Manager to join the team for one of our top tier clients in East Hartford, CT.
Onsite is required twice a month!
Rate: $60-$70/hr

IT Asset Management
Responsibilities:
- Plan, monitor, and record software assets for the organization
- Develop and promote an effective asset management strategy, policy and best practices within the organization
- Work with business stakeholders to manage the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of the IT asset repositories
- Make sure the content of the asset management database is accurate
- Maintain an accurate inventory of software assets including version control, licensing details and usage statistics
- Establish and maintain documentation of procedures, processes, and reports concerning asset and configuration management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and policies related to asset management.
- Perform research on industry best practice and incorporate it with organizational practices
Qualifications
- Strong background in hardware and software asset management (licensing, procurement, IT Operations, etc)
- Strong understanding of asset management principles and best practices.
- ServiceNow skills would be a plus!
- Ability to analyze data and provide insights
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Bachelors degree or similar
