What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Manager position at Pride Transport?
General Summary: Orders parts and adjusts inventory level. Ensure that tasks are performed in a safe, professional, and timely manner as to best represent Pride Transport. This person is an example of and perpetuates the five-company core values. The PRIDE Way.
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
Pay: $20 to $25 /hour, eligible for departmental monthly performance incentive

- Ordering parts
- Ensure 100% availability of top 25% parts used.
- Ensure 90% availability of remaining next 25% of parts used.
- Receiving inventory, creating, and processing PO’s
- Inventory stocking control
- Periodic inventory quarterly
- Cyclic inventory on 15% of inventory quarterly
- Return obsolete / infrequently used parts every quarter.
- Process warranty items and core returns
- Data entry
- Analyze supplier bid quotes.
- Attendance is essential job function.
- Perform other task/duties as assigned by management.
- Keeping parts room clean and organized
- Knowledge of Google Apps and /or Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of heavy-duty equipment and transportation
- Knowledge of VMRS
- Ability to organize multiple work assignments and establish priorities.
- Ability to multitask.
- Ability to analyze expenses.
- Ability to pay close attention to details and ensure accuracy.
- Ability to type 30 wpm.
- Customer service orientated.
